The top of the bag has perforations that help users open the bag without damaging the contents. Manufacturers do this so patients don't have to use scissors or a knife to cut open the package as seen below. These perforations run along the center of the bag just under the word underwear.
One unique feature of these incontinence underwear are the super tall leg gathers. These are the tallest measured to date for large sized briefs at 1.75 inches or 44.5 millimeters in height. This makes these a great choice for patients who experience leaks, especially when sleeping on their sides. Additionally size information can be found along the back waistline with a large L printed on the inside of the undergarment. Unfortunately the Mckesson Ultra Large Heavy Underwear did not score well in absorbance measuring below average in total absorbancy. When absorbancy was measured separately in the front, middle and rear, all measurements were also below average.
These do not feature a wetness indicator like other brands as seen in the picture below. Instead they print size information three times across the outside padding in light blue lettering.
