This is the picture page for the Tranquility SwimMates Underwear. This page is part of a detailed review where we measure and photograph incontinence products and publish the results. Unlike other incontinence underwear these are designed for swimming and do not absorb much moisture. Instead they are designed to contain solids while letting water out.

Medium is designed for waists 34 - 48 inches or 120 to 175 lbs. Large is designed for waists 44 - 54 inches or 170 to 210 lbs. Extra large is designed for waists 48 - 66 inches or 210 to 250 lbs. Double extra large is designed for waists 62 - 80 inches or over 250 lbs.
In our testing we found the overall fit is slightly larger than the average large incontinence underwear in both the width (waistline) and the length. All other measurements are near average.
Since Tranquility SwimMates Underwear are designed to be submerged underwater they do not absorb much moisture. These work more like a disposable barrier to help contain bowel incontinence than absorb large amounts of moisture. They do absorb some, about 5 ounces in total under pressure. This is about 7 times lower than the average incontinence underwear.
As seen in the picture above there is a faint FRONT text that runs along the center of the diaper to indicate which way to put it on. In addition size information is displayed by repetitive L's that run down the center indicating size large. We found this hard to read since the text is in blue and its printed on a blue background.
One unique feature are the standing leg guards. They are much shorter than other brands of incontinence underwear. On other brands the leg gathers help stop leaks. But on these they are designed to keep solids in but let water out.
